A one-plate ELISA+CLIA processor, the Bolt shares many features of the ThunderBolt, but with a more customizable, lower throughput, cost-effective design.
A small yet dynamic system
The Bolt is a single compact machine that serves as all of the tools for processing an ELISA or CLIA assay (pipette, washer, incubator, shaker, reader). Our interactive user-friendly software provides a simple laboratory experience for instrument operation.
Experience the entire EIA process for less
The simple design of the Bolt reduces the cost of the instrument and still provides the user with a complete EIA process. Enhance your workflow with easy loading, fully automated processing, reading and reporting of results.
Perform ELISA’s from start to finish
With the fully automated EIA platform, users can easily set up a worklist and come back to the instrument to retrieve results. No more worrying about manual incubation times and misplacing pipettes.
Easy operation, in-depth analysis
Just like the hardware, the Bolt software provides all the features your lab requires, and more. Intuitive operation allows for easy training and ongoing use. The Test Designer allows for exceptional assay protocol adherence, along with numerous reporting and analysis options that can be tailored to your lab’s needs.
Customize your EIA platform to your laboratory’s needs
The Bolt offers different modular designs to customize the Bolt to exactly the experience that the user needs. Save on features that the lab does not need for a simpler laboratory experience.
The Bolt software adapts to your laboratory to enable maximum productivity and deliver highly reliable results. The Test Designer combines with the multitude of other features to make ongoing operation of your Bolt as effortless as possible. The Test Designer allows configuration of virtually any EIA or Chemiluminescence assay protocol down the most minute detail, including required calculations and results analysis. Computations include: Point to point, linear regression, cubic spline, 4PL, 5 PL, Lin-Lin, Lin-Log, and Log-Log representation. The software integrates with most LIS systems, and provides a fully bidirectional interface.
The shaker, incubator and reader are modular features to provide you with a customizable EIA platform.
Provides consistent shaking while keeping fluids in the wells, and shakes vigorously up to 900 RPM. Attain precise and accurate results with better mixing of reagents in the wells with less chance of spillage. The convection incubator quickly and uniformly heats each individual reaction well, allowing the Bolt to deliver consistent results. Have confidence in your results by eliminating the uneven heating, or “edge effect”, commonly seen with traditional chamber incubators.
Configure your Bolt with either an LED spectrophotometer for ELISA processing, or a combination EIA+CLIA spectrophotometer/fluorescence reader to handle both ELISA and chemiluminescence assays. The ELISA reader uses LED’s and provides multiple benefits including: 100x longer bulb life, less ambient heat, more specific wavelengths and ultra-compact size. The EIA+CLIA reader boasts increased capability while maintaining the full automation, small size and excellent durability of the ELISA spectrophotometer.
The Bolt features a highly precise micro-syringe that maintains the same level of precision as other instruments in its class, but at much lower volumes. The Bolt accurately and precisely aspirates 1μl volumes at less than 3% CV, allowing sample dilutions to be performed directly in the reaction wells, eliminating the need for extra pre-dilution steps.
